Sectors with Climate Change Agreements as reported by Envantage

Energy intensive sectors eligible for Climate Change Agreements

Last Updated March 2016

Specific energy intensive and IPPC regulated industries that are eligible for Climate Change Agreements (CCAs) are listed below. Each sector is managed by a federation or association.

Climate Change Agreements are voluntary agreements that provide a substantial discount on the Climate Change Levy (CCL).

Note that the sector federations do not manage individual Climate Change Agreements. It is up to each individual participant to ensure that their CCA evidence pack and scheme obligations are properly managed and would stand up to audit.

Envantage provides full CCA management services. This is typically the most cost-effective route for eligible companies who wish to cut their energy costs.
