Everyone in England and Wales that has a building with a single or multiple Air Conditioning system with a total installed cooling capacity of over 250kW, is affected by this legislation. In 2011 the legislation will apply to all Air Conditioning systems over 12kW.

The aim of the legislation is to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs. Increasing the efficiency of the Air Conditioning systems can also have a positive effect on staff and customers. A comfortable working environment breeds a happier, more efficient company therefore employee productivity can be significantly increased.

Envantage Air Conditioning inspections are performed by a Senior Energy Assessor who is accredited to inspect Air Conditioning systems by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).

The inspection will be undertaken in accordance with CIBSE document TM44.
