Participate in the Carbon Disclosure Project to reduce your carbon emissions.
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a global, investor driven, climate change reporting scheme where many organisations voluntarily disclose Green House Gas emissions, carbon reduction initiatives and the organisation’s climate change strategy.
The CDP invites responses annually, assesses the response and places companies in performance league tables by sector. Companies failing to respond are named and shamed.
Taking part in voluntary schemes such as the CDP is necessary in order to satisfy consumer, investor and stakeholder expectations. For a medium to large company, failing to report to the CDP is seen as a brand value and stakeholder risk.
