Envantage End of Year Round-up

Published

It’s been a jam-packed year at Envantage! As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve been looking back on the growth, people and projects that have shaped the year and set us up for what’s ahead in 2026.

We have enjoyed strengthening relationships with existing clients and getting to know those who are new to the Envantage fold, getting under the skin of their energy challenges and supporting them with our blend of skills and services. We’ve undertaken numerous client review sessions and have been thrilled to receive incredible feedback on our stellar customer service. But don’t just take our word for it – you can read some of our client testimonials here.

Growing our business

2025 has been a big year for Envantage, with our teams busier than ever and our services continuing to grow in both scale and impact. Across the business, we’ve focused on supporting clients through every stage of their energy and carbon journey, delivering real outcomes along the way.

Our compliance team has spent much of the year preparing for the start of phase 3 of the Climate Change Agreement scheme, while continuing to protect existing CCAs. This work plays a key role in helping qualifying businesses avoid unnecessary costs and stay on track.

It’s also been a standout year for our Energy Intensive Industries team, who managed a record number of EII certificates and secured £18.75 million in savings for clients in the scheme. A brilliant result that reflects the care and expertise behind the scenes. Looking ahead, 2026 brings further opportunity, with Network Charge Compensation increasing to 90% from April. It’s a positive change for eligible businesses and a good moment to make sure everything is in place to maximise savings.

In procurement, the team introduced two new ways to buy energy – Energy Baskets and Day One Fixed contracts – and are now managing 2.2TWh of energy on behalf of clients, with more growth expected in 2026.

Our carbon and technical services teams have had their heads down, too. Average CDP scores for our clients reached a B, alongside the delivery of 139 carbon projects and the measurement of over 3.3 million tonnes of emissions. While ESOS Phase 3 has wrapped up, the team has continued to deliver savings through action plans, helping clients save more than 16.6 million kWh of energy, while gearing up for ESOS Phase 4, CBAM, and lots of decarbonisation audits in 2026.

It’s been a year full of progress, teamwork, and results, and we’re proud of what our people have delivered for clients.

Envantage Additions

2025 has been a year of growth for Envantage, with eight new team members joining across IT, data, account management, carbon, compliance and technical services. This strengthens our expertise and ensures we are even better equipped to support our clients as their needs evolve.

Three out of the eight are graduates, bringing fresh energy and a strong desire to build careers in the energy and low-carbon sector. We are committed to developing our people at every stage, ensuring our team remains highly skilled and ready to support clients in a rapidly changing industry.

Giving back

Our team has created some special moments this year to support local and national charities with their vital work. We were proud to support our clients, firstly, the brave member of staff at Banham Poultry, who took on the hair-raising challenge of skydiving to raise money for the Boparan Charitable Trust: A charity focused on providing support to children disadvantaged by disabilities, life-limiting illnesses, and those in extreme poverty across the UK.

We were also delighted to support the procurement team at Compleat Food Group who took part in the Mighty Hike along the Norfolk coast to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our very own Managing Director, Philip Alletson’s granddaughter, Rosie, ran both the Race for Life and the 5k Pretty Muddy in her brownie pack, with both races raising money for Cancer Research. Our team was delighted to support Rosie with a well-earned donation.

And this Christmas time, we have been collecting food and personal care items for Perry’s Pantry food bank, to support those in need in our local community here in Didsbury.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our clients, suppliers and friends for your continued support this year. Envantage wouldn’t be what it is today without everyone involved.

We hope that you have a happy and peaceful festive season. We look forward to working with you in 2026!
